Call for Papers IEEE Latincom 2012

The 4th IEEE Latin-American Conference on Communications (IEEE LATINCOM 2012) will be held in Cuenca, Ecuador on 7-9 November 2012. Cuenca (full name Santa Ana de los cuatro ríos de Cuenca) is the capital of the Azuay Province. It is located in the highlands of Ecuador at about 2500 m above sea level. The center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Trust site because of its many historical buildings.

As the most important conference on communications in Latin America, IEEE LATINCOM 2012 will attract leading researchers from all continents and will provide an outstanding opportunity for the Latin-American academic and industrial community to present their research in all areas of communications and networking.

The theme of IEEE LATINCOM 2012 is SMART COMMUNICATIONS FOR A SMARTER WORLD. We encourage submission of technical papers especially on topics related to this theme.

Papers will be peer-reviewed by the international TPC according to standard procedures of the IEEE Communications Society. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference in oral or poster sessions. Selected papers will be published in special issue of the IEEE Latin America Journal and a Best Paper Award will be given to the Best Paper selected by a selection committe.
